This time, I am writing about "The Model Millionaire (by Oscar Wilde)".

"What is the real purpose of an artist?"
The main character of the book is Hughie Erskine, a young good-looking man and the tea trader.
He had a girlfriend, named Laura Merton and he wanted to marry her.
her father also liked his personality very much, but he did not allow him to marry until he earn ten thousand pounds by himself.
He thought it is a hard work to get money and I felt, he might have pressed her wedding day later in his mind.
One day, he went to see his great friend, Alan Trevor, a painter.
In there, he found Alan painted picture modeled after a poor-looking old man (a beggar) with sad looking.
Hughie began to feel pity for him, so he gave a pound in his hands, his little money.
After the event, he was taught by Alan that the old begger was in fact Baron Hausberg, the rich man who always buy Alan's works!!
Hughie was confused the fact and worried about his money in his mind.
But, the next morning,
he was received a envelop from Baron Hausberg!!
Opened it, he found in inside a cheque for "ten thousand pounds" 😲
with his apologies from the servant😊💕
I think, the most model of millionaire is a person who has a sincere attitude for others and
heart-wealth, not only the quantity of the financial power!
